Judy Kilburn

Although born in New Hampshire, Judy grew up in St. Petersburg,
Florida. She credits her parents’ example that success comes
only through hard work and perseverance, a philosophy that brought
her academic honors all through high school and junior college.
After receiving her associate’s degree in St. Petersburg, she
transferred to the University of Florida at Gainesville, where she
earned a bachelor’s degree in education.
In 1972, Judy moved to Miami to pursue her career as a teacher,
but in 1977 she decided it was time to start her own business. The
stress and hassle of buying a new car from a conventional dealer
made her realize that there must be an easier way. So, armed with
her passion to help others simplify their lives, she created a successful,
service-oriented corporation called American Chariots Auto Brokers.
And people responded immediately. This “one-stop shopping”
car buying service has been a success ever since the first car door
opened, and has been expanding ever since.
Still passionate about helping others, Judy is a member of the
Miami-Dade Women’s Chamber of Commerce, The Women’s Service
Network, Florida Independent Automobile Dealers Association, National
Independent Dealers Association and she is also a Notary Public.
When not helping clients or participating in one of her many service
organizations, Judy can usually be found outdoors, gardening, caring
for animals or boating and fishing. She also enjoys reading and
a good joke.
